Must-Read before getting permanent makeup

We are delighted that you are taking the time to read this! Located on Deer Park Avenue in downtown Babylon Village, we often have walk-in inquiries about our permanent makeup services. Some clients are eager to start immediately, but it's crucial to conduct thorough research before making any decisions. 

To assist you in your research and planning, we have included our Pre-care and After-care cards. It is highly recommended to schedule an in-person consultation with your artist before starting Part 1 of any of our permanent makeup services, which include Microblading, Powder Brows, FADE Brows, and Lip Blush. Keep in mind that two sessions are necessary for all of our permanent makeup services, with a healing period of 4 to 6 weeks for lips and 6 to 8 weeks for brows following Part 1. 

In the lead-up to your permanent makeup appointment, the days preceding the procedure are of utmost importance. Adequate hydration is essential; please ensure you maintain a daily intake of water as recommended. For eyebrow treatments, maintaining clear skin, including the brow area, is crucial as blemishes, such as pimples are technically infections. Regularly brushing your eyebrows with a clean spoolie is advised, and refrain from tinting, staining, or laminating your brows for a month before the permanent makeup session. Cease the use of any growth serums on your brows as well.

If you are scheduled for a Lip Blush treatment, avoid using lipsticks with staining properties a week prior to your appointment and exfoliate your lips with a sugar scrub for three days leading up to the treatment. 

Regarding Botox and fillers, ensure that your last Botox treatment was administered no less than four weeks before your Microblading, Powder, or FADE appointment. The same timeline applies for lip fillers. If your Botox treatment coincides with your brow or lip appointment, you may opt for forehead Botox on the same day (after your pmu service), but this does not extend to lip fillers. It is advisable to wait at least one month after a Lip Blush treatment before receiving lip fillers.
