---------------------Must Read before Brow Appointment---------------------
(scroll to find your service)
We are not a traditional walk-in place that offers brows where you can ask for “brows to match” and think you are leaving with instant symmetry.
At LLB:
- We focus on brow growth, balance, and long-term results
- We do not take your existing hairs and shrink them into tiny, overly thin brows. Leave that to the nail salons.
- Your brows may not look “perfect” at the first visit — and that is intentional
More education and a personalized plan will be discussed at your appointment.
Know Your Skin & Products
Please come prepared knowing what products you currently use on or near your brow area, including:
- Retinoids / retinols
- Acne medications
- Chemical exfoliants
- Tea tree oil or essential oils
- Prescription or medical skincare
Even when all precautions are taken, skin reactions can still occur.
About Skin Lifting (Wax Clients)
Skin lifting is when the top layer of skin lifts during or after waxing, appearing red, shiny, and/or sensitive.
This can happen due to:
- Thin or sensitized skin
- Active skincare ingredients
- Heat, friction, or natural skin fragility
Even with proper technique and full disclosure of products, skin lifting is a known risk of brow services and must be accepted when receiving waxing services. If your artist sees the beginning of skin lifting, he/she will discontinue with the wax that is currently being used, and continue with either a sensitive wax, or Tweeze & Twinkle to complete the service. You must use Aquaphor on the affected area to avoid scabbing.
Wax Options at LLB
We offer:
- Soft wax (with the strip/paper)
- Hard wax (more sensitive, and requires more tweezing)
Your artist will choose the safest option based on your skin, hair type, and history. Wax choice is not purely preference-based — it is a professional decision.
Threading Clients — Please Note
If you currently receive threading:
- Threading availability depends on staff scheduling
- If a threader is unavailable, we offer a wax-free alternative called The Tweeze & Twinkle (precision tweezing, peach-fuzz eliminating tool + trimming)
You will never be forced into waxing if it is not right for your skin.
Brow Lamination Disclosure
Brow lamination involves chemical solutions designed to soften and reshape brow hairs.
Please understand:
- There is a risk of skin sensitivity or chemical reaction
- Results and tolerance vary from person to person
- Proper aftercare is essential
Your artist will assess suitability, but reactions cannot be fully predicted.
Final Notes on Brows:
Brows are a journey — not a one-time fix. Trusting the process is key to achieving your best results.
If you have questions, concerns, or product disclosures before your appointment, please reach out. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.
We look forward to meeting you and beginning your brow journey.
---------------------Must Read before Lash Appointment---------------------

- Avoid caffeine right before your appointment if you’re sensitive to eye fluttering.
- If you wear contact lenses, we recommend removing them prior to your service.
If lashes are not clean upon arrival, a lash bath may be required and can shorten your service time or result in a reschedule.
Appointment Timing
- Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or forfeited appointment at full price of scheduled appointment
- We cannot guarantee full results if time is lost due to late arrival.
During Your Service
- Please keep your eyes closed and relaxed throughout the service.
- Avoid talking during application to ensure comfort and precision.
- If you experience any discomfort, let your artist know immediately.

- We use a cream that dissolves the adhesive from your natural lashes
- Irritation may occur
---------------------Must Read before Facials---------------------
At LLB, facials are customized and intentional. We focus on:
- Skin health and function
- Long-term results over instant fixes
- Enhancing your natural structure while protecting skin integrity
Every facial is adjusted based on your skin, history, and goals on the day of treatment.
Know Your Skin & Products
Please be prepared to disclose all products and treatments you currently use, including:
- Prescription skincare
- Retinoids / retinols (must discontinue 14 days prior to facial services)
- Acne medications (must discontinue 14 days prior to facial services)
- Chemical exfoliants (must discontinue 14 days prior to facial services)
- Essential oils (including tea tree oil)
- Recent cosmetic or medical procedures (please confirm with your physician that facial treatments are appropriate)
- Botox and dermal fillers (must be no less than 14 days prior to treatment)
Even with full disclosure and proper preparation, individual skin responses can vary.
Retinoids & Prescription Products
For Geneo, microcurrent, nano-needling, and other advanced facials:
- Retinoids and prescription exfoliating products must be discontinued 14 days prior to treatment
- These products may be resumed 3–5 days after, depending on skin response — please confirm with your facialist
This helps protect the skin barrier and reduce the risk of irritation or sensitivity.
Botox & Filler Disclosure (Very Important)
If you have received Botox or dermal filler, timing matters.
Please inform us of:
- What was injected
- Where it was injected
- When it was done
Certain modalities — including microcurrent, massage, lifting, and sculpting techniques — may need to be modified or postponed following injections. Your treatment may be adjusted to protect both your skin and your injectable results.
The Natural Facelift (Microcurrent)
The Natural Facelift uses microcurrent technology to stimulate facial muscles and support lift and tone.
Please note:
- Results are cumulative and improve with consistency, similar to exercising any other part of the body
- Sensations vary from person to person
- Microcurrent is not appropriate immediately after Botox, dermal filler, or nano-needling
- Certain medical conditions and implants are contraindicated (see below)
Normal Sensations During Microcurrent
- A temporary metallic taste may be noticed, especially when working near the mouth
- A light strobing or flickering effect around the eyes may occur
- Strong muscle twitching can be felt
These sensations are normal and expected responses to microcurrent stimulation.
Korean Glass / Mirror Skin Facials (Nano-Needling)
These facials use nano-needling technology to enhance product absorption and support skin renewal at the surface level.
Important notes:
- Nano-needling does not penetrate as deeply as traditional microneedling
- Mild redness, warmth, or sensitivity may occur
- Skin must be free of active infection, open lesions, or a compromised barrier
- Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results
Face Yoga Service (Buccal Massage)
Our Face Yoga service includes a buccal massage, which is performed inside the mouth to release tension and support facial balance.
Please inform your facialist prior to treatment if you have:
- Loose teeth
- Dental pain or sensitivity
- Recent dental work
- Any oral or jaw-related concerns
This ensures your comfort and safety during the service.
Medical Contraindications (Please Read Carefully)
Pacemakers, Epilepsy & Implanted Medical Devices
Clients with:
- A heart pacemaker
- Implanted defibrillator
- Epilepsy or seizure disorders
- Any electronic or implanted medical device
❌ Are not candidates for microcurrent treatments, including The Natural Facelift.
Implanted Metal in the Head or Face
Clients with any implanted metal in the head or facial area, including:
- Plates
- Screws
- Pins
- Surgical hardware

- Other permanent metal implants
❌ Are not candidates for Geneo or microcurrent treatments, including The Natural Facelift.
These restrictions exist to ensure safety and avoid interaction with energy-based technologies.
Please disclose all medical conditions, implants, and devices prior to your appointment. If a treatment is contraindicated, your provider will recommend a safe alternative.
Skin Sensitivity & Reactions
Even with high-quality products and professional technique:
- Redness, warmth, or sensitivity may occur
- Your skin may get nicked during dermaplaning
- Skin responses vary by individual
- Reactions are possible even with proper preparation
These are known risks of advanced facial treatments and are not considered service errors.
Trust the Process
Healthy, glowing skin is built through:
- Consistency
- Proper timing between treatments
- Respecting your skin’s limits
We will always prioritize skin integrity and long-term results over aggressive or rushed treatments.
If you have questions, recent injections, medical disclosures, or product concerns before your appointment, please reach out — we’re happy to guide you.
We look forward to caring for your skin.
---------------------Must Read before Permanent Makeup---------------------
At LLB, permanent makeup is:
- Custom-designed for your skin, bone structure, and lifestyle
- Focused on soft, natural enhancement, not harsh or trend-driven results
- A process, not a single appointment
Permanent makeup is sometimes referred to as semi-permanent makeup because the pigment fades over time. However, it is important to understand that pigment is implanted into the skin and will not fully fade out on its own.
Final results are achieved over time and typically require a touch-up appointment for optimal retention and refinement.
Services Covered by This Information
This information applies to:
- Nano Brows
- Microblading
- Powder / Ombré Brows
- Lip Blush
- Eyeliner
Each service has unique characteristics, but all share similar preparation, healing, and expectations.
Know Your Skin, Health & Products
Please be prepared to disclose all of the following:
- Prescription skincare
- Retinoids / retinols
- Acne medications
- Chemical exfoliants
- Blood thinners or anticoagulants
- Essential oils (including tea tree oil)
- Autoimmune conditions
- Fish oils (know the mg)
- Vitamin C
- Pregnancy or nursing status
- History of cold sores (lip blush clients)
- Recent cosmetic or medical procedures
- Botox and dermal fillers (no less than 14 days since injections)
Even with full disclosure, results and healing vary by individual.
Product & Treatment Restrictions
To protect your skin and pigment retention:
- Retinoids, prescription acne products, and exfoliants must be discontinued at least 14 days prior
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning supplements 24–48 hours before your appointment
- Recent Botox or dermal fillers must be at least 2 weeks prior and fully disclosed
- No chemical or laser peels within the month
Failure to follow pre-care instructions may impact results or require rescheduling
Pain, Sensation & Swelling
Permanent makeup involves depositing pigment into the skin and may cause:
- Discomfort or sensitivity during the procedure
- Redness and swelling immediately after
- Tenderness during the healing phase
Topical anesthetics are used, but sensation varies from person to person.
Healing & Results (Very Important)
Healing is a multi-stage process:
- Pigment will appear darker and bolder immediately after treatment, you may even feel asymmetrical. The more dominant brow will appear to look higher, or more arched. If you got lip blush, one side of your lip may feel a bit overdrawn.
- Fading, flaking, or patchiness is normal
- After two weeks it is completely normal for most of the brow to "disappear."
- Final color is visible after full healing (4–8 weeks)
Results are influenced by:
- Skin type
- Lifestyle
- Sun exposure
- Skincare habits
- Immune response
Immediately after your session, you may feel darker than expected, and asymmetrical. The outline of the service is agreed on before we start the procedure. Perfect symmetry and exact color matching cannot be guaranteed as the skin will heal exactly how it wants to heal. This is why we have part 2 and sometimes part 3 to finish. We need to see the healed results each time.
Touch-Ups & Longevity
- A touch-up appointment is required to perfect shape and color
- Permanent makeup is long-lasting but not temporary
- Pigment will soften and fade, but will not completely disappear from the skin
- Maintenance appointments are necessary to keep results fresh
- If maintenance is not happening often enough (once a year), the brows do tend to get ashy, and the lips can fade to near nothing.
Touch-ups are not optional — they are part of the permanent makeup process. However, after completing your initial appointments, many people are happy we the fading process, and feel content with having "just enough."
About Removals
- A full removal is not guaranteed
- Saline removal is ideal for emergency (less than 48 hours) removal of pigment
- Saline removal is ideal for a slow lightening of existing nano/microblading/powder brows
- Saline removals requires as many sessions until you get your desired results
- Saline removals will not remove melanin that the pmu may have helped produce (it's technically a tattoo)
- Saline works by pulling pigment out of the skin through osmosis, and scabbing, whereas laser removal will blast the pigment into microscopic particles running through your lymphatic system though scabbing is still possible
- Laser is more painful than saline removal
- Laser has better results
- Laser is an option if saline removal did not take out enough pigment
Medical Contraindications (Please Read Carefully)
Permanent makeup may not be appropriate for clients with:
- Certain autoimmune conditions
- Active skin infections or conditions in the treatment area
- Blood clotting disorders
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Pregnancy
- Accutane within the year
- Chemotherapy within the year
- History of poor wound healing or keloid scarring
- Any use of fish oil and vitamin c recent past or current-use
Additional contraindications may apply and will be reviewed at your appointment.
Expectations & Consent
By proceeding with permanent makeup services, you acknowledge:
- Results vary and are not guaranteed
- By default, the fans of the brows are purposely left natural, and "spaced" to ensure a look that is natural. The fans may also have the first few "hairs" straighter on one brow than the other brow to ensure realistic results. We avoid a perfectly "stamped-on" brow result.
- Hairlike strokes from nano and microblading can, and probably will merge over the years
- Healing and pigment retention are unpredictable
- Multiple sessions may be required and is not a reflection of artist experience
- Permanent makeup is an enhancement, not perfection
- Pigment placement is long-lasting and cannot be fully reversed naturally
- The skin can become over-saturated needing saline removal or laser removal at your own expense
Our artists prioritize safety, skin integrity, and natural-looking results above all else.
Trust the Process
Permanent makeup is a collaboration between artist, skin, and aftercare. Following instructions and allowing your skin time to heal is essential for success. DO NOT MAKE ANY DECISIONS ABOUT YOUR PMU UNTIL AT LEAST 4-6 WEEKS.
If you have questions, medical concerns, or product disclosures prior to your appointment, please contact us — we’re happy to guide you.
We look forward to caring for you
---------------------Must Read before Vitamin Scalp/Brow Infusions---------------------
At LLB, infusion treatments are:
- Supportive, restorative services — not instant fixes
- Designed to improve the environment for healthy hair growth, not force growth
- Most effective when completed as a series, not a one-time treatment
Consistency, patience, and proper aftercare are essential for best results.
Nano-Needling Technology
Vitamin Brow and Scalp Infusions use nano-needling technology, which works at the epidermis–dermis junction — the critical area where cellular activity, circulation, and nutrient exchange support healthy hair follicles.
Important to understand:
- Nano-needling is does not penetrate as deeply as traditional microneedling
- It creates micro-channels at the epidermal-dermal junction to enhance absorption of vitamins, peptides, and nourishing ingredients
- The goal is stimulation and delivery, not injury
- Sensation is generally mild and well-tolerated
This approach allows ingredients to reach their most effective level while maintaining skin integrity.
What These Treatments Support
Vitamin Brow and Scalp Infusions are intended to support:
- Follicle health and function
- Scalp or brow circulation
- Hair strength and vitality
- Overall scalp or brow balance
Results vary by individual and are influenced by genetics, hormones, stress, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Know Your Skin, Scalp & Health
Please be prepared to disclose all relevant information, including:
- Prescription medications or topical treatments
- Hair growth products (topical or oral)
- Recent cosmetic or medical procedures
- Autoimmune or inflammatory conditions
- Hormonal conditions or postpartum status
- Pregnancy or nursing
- History of skin sensitivity or allergic reactions
- Botox or dermal filler in the brow, forehead, or scalp area
Even with full disclosure and proper technique, individual responses can vary.
Sensation & Treatment Expectations
During treatment, you may experience:
- Mild pressure or prickling sensations
- Temporary redness or warmth
- Slight sensitivity in the treated area
These responses are normal and typically resolve quickly.
Post-Treatment Expectations
After your infusion:
- Mild redness or tenderness may last a short time
- Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the area for the remainder of the day
- Within 7 days expect scabbing
- Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your provider
Visible improvements in hair density, strength, or fullness are gradual and develop over time.
Medical Considerations & Contraindications
Vitamin Brow and Scalp Infusions using nano-needling may not be appropriate for clients with:
- Active skin or scalp infections
- Open wounds or lesions in the treatment area
- Certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions
- Blood clotting disorders
- Known allergies to treatment ingredients
- Pregnancy
Your provider will assess suitability and may modify or postpone treatment if necessary.
Realistic Results & Commitment
Please understand:
- Results vary from person to person
- These treatments do not guarantee hair regrowth, though 99% of our clients have grown back their hair
- Improvements are typically seen with consistent treatments over time
- Maintenance sessions may be recommended
Our goal is to support healthy conditions — not promise unrealistic outcomes.
Trust the Process
Healthy brows and scalp function take time. Nano-needling vitamin infusions work best as part of a larger, consistent care plan.
If you have questions, medical concerns, or product disclosures prior to your appointment, please reach out — we’re happy to guide you.
We look forward to caring for you
---------------------Must Read before Laser Hair Removal---------------------
What Laser Hair Removal Is
Laser hair removal uses focused laser energy to target pigment (melanin) in the hair follicle. The heat generated damages the follicle’s ability to produce hair, resulting in gradual hair reduction over time.
Laser hair removal works best on:
- Darker hair
- Hair in the active growth phase (anagen)
Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are required.
What Laser Hair Removal Is NOT
It is important to understand that laser hair removal:
- Is not permanent hair removal
- Does not remove hair in one session
- Does not guarantee complete hair removal
- Does not effectively treat white, grey, red, or very light blonde hair
- Will not prevent future hair growth caused by hormones, genetics, or life changes
Laser hair removal provides long-term hair reduction, not total elimination of all hair.
Treatment Schedule & Expectations
- Most clients require 6–10 or more sessions
- Treatments must be properly spaced to align with hair growth cycles
- Face: approximately 4–6 weeks
- Body: approximately 6–8 weeks
- Hair will shed over 1–3 weeks after treatment
- Regrowth between sessions is normal
Results vary based on:
- Skin type
- Hair color and thickness
- Hormones and genetics
- Medications
- Consistency with appointments
Normal Sensations & Skin Responses
During or after treatment, you may experience:
- Heat or snapping sensation
- Mild to moderate discomfort
- Temporary redness (erythema)
- Temporary swelling around hair follicles (perifollicular edema)
These responses are normal and expected and typically resolve within hours to a few days.
What You MUST Do Before Treatment
To ensure safety and effectiveness:
- Shave the treatment area (do not wax, tweeze, or thread)
- Arrive with clean skin (no lotion, oil, deodorant, or makeup)
- Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners
- Disclose all medications and medical conditions
- Inform us of recent cosmetic or medical procedures
What You MUST NOT Do During Laser Treatments
While undergoing laser hair removal, you must NOT:
- Tan (sun, tanning beds, or spray tans)
- Treat sunburned or recently tanned skin
- Wax, tweeze, thread, or use depilatory creams
- Apply products to the skin on treatment day
- Exfoliate aggressively before or after treatment
⚠️ Tanned skin significantly increases the risk of burns and pigment changes.
Appointments may be postponed if the skin is tanned or sunburned.
Medications, Hormones & Hair Regrowth
Certain medications and life events can affect results and may cause hair to be more resistant or return after treatment, including:
- Minoxidil (Rogaine)
- Hormonal medications or therapies
- Steroids
- Certain antidepressants or seizure medications
- Pregnancy or postpartum changes
- Menopause
- PCOS, thyroid disorders, or other hormonal conditions
These factors are beyond provider control and may require additional treatments or maintenance.
Risks & Possible Side Effects
Laser hair removal carries risks, including but not limited to:
- Redness or swelling
- Skin sensitivity or irritation
- Blistering or burns (rare)
- Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
- Scabbing or crusting
- Uneven or incomplete hair reduction
Risks increase if pre- or post-care instructions are not followed.
Touch-Ups & Maintenance
Because hair growth is influenced by biology:
- Touch-up or maintenance treatments may be necessary
- Maintenance is normal and expected
- Touch-ups are not a failure of treatment
What You Are Acknowledging by Proceeding
By undergoing laser hair removal, you acknowledge that:
- Results are not guaranteed
- Multiple treatments are required
- Hair reduction is gradual
- Hair may return due to hormones, medications, or life changes
- You have disclosed all relevant medical and lifestyle information
- You agree to follow all pre- and post-care instructions
Questions & Communication
If you have questions, medical changes, recent sun exposure, or concerns before your appointment, please contact us. Clear communication helps ensure the safest and most effective treatment.
We look forward to caring for you
