Powder Brow Mentorship Intensive

The Powder Brow Mentorship Intensive focuses on machine shading techniques used to create soft, natural-looking powdered brows.

Participants will observe procedures and practice techniques used in professional studio environments, including:

• brow mapping and facial symmetry
• pigment selection and color considerations
• machine setup and needle configurations
• powder brow shading techniques
• stretch technique and depth control
• healing expectations and aftercare

Participants will observe a full powder brow procedure performed by the instructor and may take part in supervised model work.

Lip Blush Mentorship Intensive

The Lip Blush Mentorship Intensive focuses on techniques used to enhance natural lip color and shape using permanent makeup.

Topics discussed during the mentorship include:

• lip consultation considerations
• lip mapping and symmetry
• pigment selection for lip blush procedures
• machine setup and needle configurations
• color layering and saturation techniques
• healing expectations and aftercare

Participants will observe a full lip blush procedure and may take part in supervised model work.

Do I need a Body Artist Certificate to perform permanent makeup in Suffolk County?

Requirements and application procedures are determined by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, and participants are responsible for contacting the department directly to confirm current requirements.

At this time, Suffolk County requires applicants to take and pass the Suffolk County Body Art examination. Online or New York City bloodborne pathogen courses alone may not meet Suffolk County’s requirements.

3-Day Powder Brow Mentorship Intensive

This small-group mentorship is designed for licensed beauty professionals and certified body artists who want to develop confidence in powder brow technique within a real studio environment.

Mentorship sessions are intentionally limited to four participants to allow for individualized guidance, observation, and supervised hands-on experience.


Day 1 — Foundations & Technique 2PM-8PM

Focus: Understanding the “why” behind every brow

  • Introduction to powder brow technique and machine fundamentals 
  • Skin types, contraindications, and client suitability 
  • Brow mapping fundamentals for facial balance and symmetry 
  • Pigment selection and color theory for long-term healed results 
  • Machine handling, depth control, and pressure techniques 
  • Live demonstration of a full powder brow procedure 

Participants will spend time observing technique, asking questions, and practicing foundational movements on practice materials.


Day 2 — Guided Hands-On Experience 9AM-3PM

Focus: Building confidence through supervised practice

  • Guided brow mapping on live models 
  • Step-by-step support during outline and shading 
  • Instructor-assisted technique correction in real time 
  • Stretching techniques and hand positioning 
  • Managing client comfort and procedure flow 
  • Understanding healing expectations and aftercare 

Participants will take part in supervised hands-on practice with close instructor guidance.


Day 3 — Refinement & Real-World Application 9AM-3PM

Focus: Putting it all together

  • Independent brow mapping with instructor feedback
